Our beautiful Hall of Philosophy, also known as the Community Building, is used for summer programs and other events scheduled by the Chautauqua and other local organizations. In addition, the building is available for rent from May through October when otherwise not in use for programs. The Hall of Philosophy seats 100 people inside plus additional seating on the porch. We can provide tables and metal folding chairs (we have eleven 8' tables, twenty 3’ square tables, and 120 folding chairs).  Renters also have access to a small kitchen with a large refrigerator, stove, a standalone freezer for ice, two restrooms, and the porch with ramp access. The second floor of the Hall of Philosophy is excluded. The building is in its original condition and is not heated or air conditioned but has four overhead fans. 

Generally the Hall of Philosophy is not available during the weekdays in the summer but is available on some weekends.
