The Pennsylvania Chautauqua Donates Proceeds of the Mt. Gretna Art Show

The Pennsylvania Chautauqua is pleased to announce its donations to local non-profits from the proceeds of another successful Mt. Gretna Art Show. The community group could not have such a successful event without the help of so many volunteers from around the greater Mt. Gretna area.
The Chautauqua Board of Managers approved donations to
- The Mt. Gretna School of Art
- Lawn Ambulance Association
- Mt. Gretna Fire Department
- Music at Gretna
- Gretna Theatre
- Mt. Gretna Area Historical Society
Funds also support the associations in Mt. Gretna neighborhoods including Campmeeting and The Heights. Residents not only volunteer to help, but they also graciously adapt to increased traffic, crowds and other challenges that a show of this size brings to the community.
Other beneficiaries include the many and varied Chautauqua Summer Programs, the Mt. Gretna Campmeeting Tabernacle events, as well as the Mt. Gretna Playhouse used by various tenants. Finally, funds will benefit the Friends of Stacey Fund. This fund is the community’s ongoing commitment to "Stacey’s Place" which is the park dedicated to the memory of Stacey Pennington who touched the youth of Mt. Gretna by creating a children’s art section at the Art Show.
The Pennsylvania Chautauqua Board of Managers and the Mt. Gretna Art Show Committee are committed to supporting our communities and activities. Again, we thank everyone who attended and helped with this year’s Art Show. Attendance of this event from local communities ensures future art shows.
